Hermanas KL is a dream of two sisters, Herzazzila and Herzatil (Hermanas: sisters in Spanish as coincidentally our names start with 'Her"), to impart wismdom and ideas of modern Malay clothing for kids. Our idea of diversified modern national dresses are for local and subsequently international consumption.  In the same breath, we aspires to give spices to local traditional kurung for kids with uniques designs at affordable prices. Hermanas KL is very patriotic in her of wanting to uplift our kurung for the world to appreciate. We strongly feel that the market needs a variety of top-notch designs with affordable prices to accommodate the needs during our festive seasons, and yet there are not many decent choices to choose from. Zooming in our focus to kids national apparel would be astute as homegrown brand like us would ideally lifting up national pride with our humble collection. 

As we realized the fact that kids have lesser choices of offered designs as their needs are seen as secondary to adults’. we aim to offer wide range of kids’ traditional Malay costume in line with our roles as mothers who understand the needs and wants of local parents.  Our baju kurungs can be transformed into dresses as we anticipate the hassle of hot weather during the raya season when kids get uncomfortable, and the solution is to keep the clothes airy and flexi.
